1 Secret to Finding Blogging Energy

by Ryan Biddulph

Blogging is tough sometimes.

No blogger sees the tough nature of blogging as a secret. You and I know blogging forces bloggers outside of their comfort zones.

But one secret nudges you through tough blogging times.

Being energized allows you to knife through blogging resistance like a blade through butter. But how do you boost your energy?

Access one of my secrets.

Train your mind.

I spend time daily training my mind. Meditating, doing various forms of yoga and exercising form the foundation of my mind training campaign. Strengthen your inner world. Overcome your outer world. Mind is similar to a muscle. Train it to be strong-minded. Train mind to energize yourself for blogging.

I do not publish content frequently because I sprint like a cheetah through the day. I train my mind to stabilize my energy. Stabilizing energy differs from elevating energy from manufactured, forced methods. Imagine doing jumping jacks for 60 seconds. Feel a strong but short energetic surge. Short bursts of energy do not sustain you for 12 hours of blogging. Stabilizing energy helps you blog for 12 hours.

Time check: 12:38 AM on a Monday morning. My body feels exhausted. My mind feels fresh. What wins? Mind wins 100% of the time if you train your mind diligently. Mind supplies you with unlimited energy. Body is slave to mind but only if you train your mind persistently.

My eyelids drop. My back hurts. My neck feels still. My body prefers to sleep. But my mind tells my body to be awake for 25 minutes to write and publish this guest post. Mind wins over body. Mind energizes body. But mind turns weak if you neglect mind. Mind turns to mush unless you train mind.

Bloggers want to find energy to blog but no one finds energy. Energy is already found. Energy is there. Access unlimited energy through the secret of mind training.

Strong-minded bloggers keep blogging through thick, thin, and all in between. Strong-minded bloggers face fear. Bloggers who strengthen their minds get comfortable with being uncomfortable. Bloggers with powerful minds appear to be energetic dynamos. But many energetic dynamos meditate or do yoga to train their mind.

I currently follow this daily regimen to strengthen my mind:

  • meditate
  • do Kriya yoga
  • do yin yoga
  • exercise

Do what works for you. Strategies vary. Follow a routine resonant with you. Trust your inner guide.

I meditated on and off for years but ramped up sitting sessions recently. I began doing Kriya yoga in June of 2019. I have done yin yoga for 3 years. I have exercised for the past 40 years of my life. Training my mind encourages me to think outward about you versus thinking solely inward, about myself. Energizing myself evolved from trying to raise my vibe manually to stabilizing my energy for a long, fun but sometimes challenging blogging journey.

Note; training my mind to be strong does not make me inhuman. I am not a blogging cyborg or robot. My mind feels fresh, strong and recharged but my body still feels run down, stiff and ready to go to bed. Strong-minded bloggers do not always feel good, refreshed and energized but these individuals level off their energy for the marathon known as blogging.

Train your mind. Blog for the long haul journey of years. Good things happen for persistent bloggers but only energized bloggers persist for the long blogging journey.

Put your cup of coffee to the side. Backburner your jumping jacks for a powerful but short-lived energy burst.

Train your mind to stabilize your blogging energy for a long journey.

Ryan,

I felt energetic while reading this blog post article about finding the blogging energy. Fact that, once we started blogging, it becomes everything in our day-to-day life. Wherever we go, we see blogging in things around us. Whatever we talk, we would try to expose it. That’s the magic of blogging. And that brings a energy boost! Hope I said it right?
