Hi Vishwajeet, what is the difference between the DA and the PA, page authority? My PA is higher than DA (from Moz). Thanks for bringing attention to this one as I’ve checked from time to time. It does change and my blog is going on 10 years old.

Hello Lisa,

Domain Authority predicts how well a web page will rank on a domain. The higher the Domain Authority, the greater the potential for an individual page on that domain to rank well.

Page Authority predicts the likelihood of a single page to rank well, regardless of its content. The higher the Page Authority, the greater the potential for that individual page to rank. You can use the Domain Authority and Page Authority to quickly target pages and websites that have the best potential to perform well in search engine results pages.

Thanks for stopping by 🙂

Super job Vishwajeet. Patience really is the buzzword in this area bro. Good point. People want a high DA fast but it is about doing simple things generously, after a LONG time, to achieve a high DA. Donna has been at it for 10 years, and me for 6 years on Blogging From Paradise, at least.

Well, I can surely give more weight to backlinks. They are the driving force for any blog. It is very rare to have high domain authority and fewer backlinks.

And as you said patience is the key. One needs to wait to have a good backlink profile, People often get discouraged and leave blogging as they don’t see the result, but they need to understand that it is a test match which takes a long time to see the result.

VK,

Your ideas are great since, recently, I did come across a blog that boosts DA from 14 to 39 just in one month (December 2020). I’m still wondering, is that really possible? What makes to achieve such greater boost in their DA? It’s all because of their link profile? Amazing!
